Job Overview:

As a Product Owner & Manager at Meisterwerk, you will be at the face of developing innovative invoicing and finance solutions for our target customer (SMBs) . Your deep understanding of the B2B SaaS environment and extensive experience in invoicing and finance software will be critical in shaping our product strategy. You will exhibit an ownership mentality, taking full responsibility for the product lifecycle. Your expertise in SMB invoicing, particularly within the Handwerk sector, will be instrumental in driving product success.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business goals and user needs.
  • Leverage your extensive experience in invoicing and finance SaaS to develop solutions that address the specific needs of SMBs.
  • Ensure our products comply with industry standards and best practices in financial management.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
  • Conduct regular backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions.
  • Ensure that the product delivers maximum value to the user and aligns with company objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from users and stakeholders to inform product decisions.

Job requirements

Your profile

  • Minimum of 5-8+ years of product management or product ownership experience in a B2B environment.
  • Significant experience with invoicing and finance software, with a focus on SMB invoicing.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Handwerk (crafts and trade) industry and its specific invoicing requirements.
  • Strong ownership mentality with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology and innovation.
